Cadet Orchestra
If you are in 7th or 8th grade, there are no auditions for the class! Simply prepare to attend and have fun during the adventure of learning about music and becoming better on your instrument. You will learn about scales, arpeggios and play great music.
Concert Orchestra
If you are in 9th - 11th grade, there are no auditions for the class! If you are in 7th or 8th grade you might want to audition to placed in this class. You must prepare the following materials:
Play one or two octave major scales (up to four sharps and four flats), with arpeggios.
Play e and g minor melodic one octave scales, with arpeggios.
Etude Choices (play one):
Violin - play either etude 1 or 2
Viola - play either etude 1 or 2
Cello - play either etude 1 or 2; or the Gigue
Bass - play etude 2
Prepare to sight read music.

Play three octave melodic minor melodic scales, with arpeggios.
